Taso Christopher was born and raised in Belleville, as were his wife and three children.
His roots in the community run deep. He’s run a business in Belleville for the past 39 years.
He’s represented Thurlow ward on council since 2006. He’s now looking to become Belleville’s mayor.
“The biggest challenge we’re going to have before us is filling that leadership role,” he said. “With eight years in an elected position, I can bring rock solid leadership going forward.”
